About

Hello!  I’m Elizabeth and I’d like to welcome you to Simply Swanky.

I love a great party – don’t we all?  But with 3 kids and a business to run, I don’t have endless hours to obsess over every detail.  That’s where Simply Swanky comes in.  It’s a place where we discuss party ideas & inspiration, and  feature some great DIY projects and recipes.  Simply Swanky is not your average party blog – one that expects you to be a hosting goddess in order to throw a great bash.  Instead, we are here to take the mystery, research, and work out of the party planning process.  A swanky party doesn’t have to cost a fortune or keep you busy for weeks getting ready – it just takes the right inspiration and a few nudges in the right direction.

So who am I?  I am the owner/designer at Swanky Press, an online invitation and stationery shop.  I am married to my college sweetheart, Brad, and have 3 awesome kids.  I started out my career as an engineer, and decided to become a stay-at-home mom after my first child was born.  As the kids grew, I became more and more hooked on parties and stationery, and eventually decided to transition from SAHM to WAHM.
Simply,
Elizabeth

Ordering my second set of graduation invitations from Swanky Press! Looking for ideas to keep about 20 teenagers entertained at my daughter’s party – thinking maybe renting a photo booth but still need to look at the cost.

Hey!! I wanted to ask you if I may feature the cute bags that you made for the stache bash? I love the idea for father’s day and would love to put it on there as a gift bag for kids to make for their dads. Thanks so much- and I REALLY appreciate your support at The Party Wagon!!

    Hi Elizabeth,
I have looked all over and I think your
horse invitations would work for our wedding. Would it be possible to have the horses instead of holding the paper
to insert a large horsehoe? Or you mention co-ordinating items maybe you already have other horse matching items?
I would love to talk to you if possible.
We are getting married on a farm, but it is not a wild west theme more equestrian I love your vintage feel.
I am on a strict budget and your things are reasonable, and nicely designed. Glad I found you,
Please let me know if we can do anything,
    Thanks Karen
