Proofs

Proofs are an important part of what we do at Pipsy. Sometimes, it's hard to know what you really want until you see a sample. For almost all products, excluding Inchbug products, you have the option to see a sample of your design before we print. We are always happy to tweak proofs until they are perfect for you.

What is a proof?

A proof is a digital image (a .jpg file) that shows the print preview. We send proofs via email one business day after you order, and we are happy to make changes if you need them.

Can I edit the information myself online?

We are currently in the process of updating many items to allow a live online preview.  For products that have the automated preview system, you will not get a separate proof via email unless you request one.

If the product you want does not currently have the online preview tool, a designer will manually create a preview proof for you and send it via email for your approval.

What if I am in a hurry?

If you need your product as fast as possible, please select "no proof" on your order form. A designer will get started on your product right away, and you will typically ship 1-2 days faster than items requiring proofs. 

It's a no-risk process: If Pipsy sends you a final product that has an error on it (that wasn't on your order form), we'll happily ship out a replacement product right away. Check your order details closely, though - we can't be held responsible for typos or errors that you make on your order form.

What if I didn't get my proof?

Your proof is sent to the email address you have registered with your account. If you don't see your proof 1 business day after you order, please check your spam folder. Since proofs are sent as JPG attachments to email, they can get mistakenly get marked as spam.  If you don't see the proof email, please send an email to orders@pipsy.com and we will reply with your proof attached.
